unfortunately microsoft office doesn't work well no matter how hard you try, I recommend trying out alternatives instead
onlyoffice: works really well, looks similar to office, best compatibility
google docs: most popular, easier to use, needs internet
libreoffice: old but works well, hard to navigate for some
microsoft office online: missing basic features, needs internet
