> <@saliva_gland:matrix.org> Hi all. I recently decided I wanted to switch to Linux and decided that I wanted to use the Fedora KDE spin. Made the media and installed it, it tested itself and said it was okay to use, so I installed it. For some reason, it freezes on the login screen and doesn’t really let me do anything. I looked it up, and the only semi-useful thing I found was that pressing e on the GRUB menu and adding `nomodeset` helps. It sort of does, because it boots and doesn’t freeze, but I can’t change the brightness that way. As I said, I’m very new to Linux. How do I fix this? I'm going to go on a limb here and say.... relatively new nvidia GPU maybe?
